The Problem: Lack of inspiration, inasmuch as the hardest part of creating new, unique, and _______ art is the foundation, the initial concept behind the technical eye-candy.

The Solution?: To combine elements of DadA (1) and performance art (2) to create a wholly new, unique, and _______ art (3) form.

:: Action:: MANIFESTO?! ::Artist

Def-in-it-I-ions

(1) Mockery of “upper-middle class” thought-type. Denial of traditional/elitist “art” {general weIRDness}

(2) Subversive (in the best cases), ACTION- and TIME-based, engaging dynamic.

(3) Possible to practice at random, through periodic ejaculations of semi-independent thought and mentally processed observations of one’s environment. THIS is inadequate.

Thus, we join hands in fusing dADa, performance art, and a disdain for the foul aftertaste of the shamefully sporadic production possible under a traditional definition of “art.” In rejection of post-modernism a successful action-martist (not “action-artist” because we don’t like “artists” anymore, they are sufficiently bloated on their own pretentious indifference already) one must practice nothing less than excellence in all acts. Especially, but not least, the acts of everyday insignificance which might otherwise be ignored. The successful action-martist practices perfection in every way, and through a state of incessant scrutiny and self-awareness, blossoms into a being of pure beauty. Traditional documentation is unnecessary and self-defeating, because the successful action-martist seems to materialize out of nothing, out of the stifling fog of post-modernism and nihilism.
